I ate 2 slices of pizza & left the rest !Wow
I’m feeling it - finally - finally - without thinking to hard, agonizing whether I should or should eat another slice. Yesterday I ate 2 slices of supermarket pizza & left the rest for others to took into. Dont get me wrong there was a small urge to eat more but a larger urge in my brain said 2’s plenty hun its about 450 calories. Its plenty. So i left it at that, had a regular glass of water & set on my way for 1 hour daily walk. Came back & half an hour later i had a slice of whole meal toast.
Guess, what I am saying is that I have finally got it through my thick skull - how to eat in proportion than over eat = without thinking about it. U kno , u eat dont think feel satisfied or more and stop. Now for last few wks I am seeing that i eat normal portion & stop = without thinking to hard about it- YEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHhhhh.
Oh how long haveĀ I battled to get my behaviour in check - because I know ultimately that is what will keep my weight loss down / maintained.
I AM now ready to challenge 6 of the last 10 pounds - by eating right. ITS really about what u eat.
Yes excercise comes in to it - i manage 3 sessions a week & 5 daily 1 hour walks. I see this as getting toned - than floppy - & can see the change too. This I do without fail - weather rough or bright - busy or not.
Guess just please am at some point right & not feeling the head battle as much - of what how much I should or should eat.

Also forgot to say - i love pizza - i cant remember when i had my last pizza slice - BUT i can say this - my old me - would have wolfed down the pizza - as much as i could - in temptation ! I , my behaviour towards food is changing.x

Can’t wait for that turning point in my life. I’m still very much in the “if it’s put infront of me/near me/not-bolted-to-the-floor then I will eat it ALL.

That is great that you have retrained your brain to know when it’s okay to stay eating. It is such an accomplishment when you reach that point. Keep it up.

I’m glad you are making portion control, moderate eating a part of your life.
I have to say, even after 5 yrs of this, I still have problems with eating……so it’s a lessen, when learned is a great one..HI FIVE!

Portion controls a tough one ESPECIALLY when it comes to PIZZA. I have a hard time with that one so I can relate to you being so happy to have walked away after having 2 slices.

I wish pizza didn’t have any slices lol! I guess what kills me is to have to stare at it while is still there, I usually throw away anything that could mean overeating after I had my correspoinding portion.
